- The fee is $110~$140/class for every two weeks (10 classes in 2 weeks for one subject)
- The program is designed to have students complete a full book in 9 weeks.
- You can choose to join all 5 sessions or part of them.
- You can cancel any session before it starts.
- Registration fee $25. (free if registered any Mulan Class within last 12 months )

Your Questions, Answered
1. What's new in Mulan Summer Camp 2023?
Answer: We designed this enriching program for students to learn Chinese, Math, Reading. and Painting. Our teachers will teach each subjects to every student.
2. What's special in Mulan Summer Camp?
Answer: Our class size is limited to 4 students for all grades. This is in contrast to some other academies with very large class size.
3. What's fun in Mulan Summer Camp?
Answer: For Chinese class, students will have singing, story telling, group reading. In Math class, students will use Singapore Dimension test books. For Reading, the fun-filled Wordly Wise 3000 provides lots of rhythms, short stories.
4. How flexible is the schedule?
Answer: The program is particularly designed so that every student can choose ANY grade of class to attend: Chinese, Math and Reading and other subjects. Please see above schedule. Students can enroll into any number of sessions at any time.
5. How much does it cost?
Answer: Mulan Camp charges from $10/class~$14/class. For maximum learning results during summer, we do recommend you to sign up for all 9 weeks for max benefit.
6. How much can my kid learn at Mulan Summer Camp?
Answer: After 9 weeks, every student will complete:
a) one book in Chinese, e.g., from grade 2 to grade 3
b) Test book A and B for current grade in Math.
c) one book in reading.
d) for 2nd graders, well practiced for CogAT exam.
e) for 5th graders, well practiced for IAAT.
7. What are all other fees?
Answer: Besides tuition,
- $25 registration fee per student. No registration fee if you register any Mulan Class within last 12 months
- $39 book fee for Chinese if physical book is issued, if buying from Mulan.
- $30 book fee for math and $25 for reading and $20 for writing, if buying from Mulan.
8. How's the class like?
Answer: All classes will be taught by Mulan experienced teachers. All class will have instruction to students, then students practice, and teacher/students discuss key knowledge points.
For Math class, we will use Singapore Math Test Book for Grade K -5. Students will practice the tests from the book. The tests consist of Concept Test and Application Test for each chapter.
9. I'm from New Jersey. Can I buy text books myself?
Answer: Yes. Please click the link in the schedule above for the proper grade of the books. We will be able to provide partial chapter for students to join the class right away while you wait for the shipment. We will not provide the full book due to copyright.
10. How can I figure out which grade I should enroll my child in?
Answer: Yes. You can use following options

If your child is attending Chinese class in other organizations, it should be OK for you to continue the grade. If your child has not learned to read or write, he/she should start with K. If your child attended full summer camp with Mulan Academy, he/she should move to next grade. If still any doubt, please email us and our Chinese lead teacher can do an individual assessment.
